Happy Friday from the SNOW GLOBE that is Chicago! ☃️ After having just one snow right before Christmas, it’s been a pretty sight to see our new neighborhood dusted in white. Still getting used to shoveling and putting down salt, since our buildings used to take care of that before, but it hasn’t been too strenuous so far.
Pretty as it is, I’m hoping the snow doesn’t affect our flights on Sunday! We’re heading out to California for a week for a little change of scenery since we both work from home. Not quite a vacation from work, but such a treat being able to walk to the beach and soak up some sunshine.

I considered this dresser for our bedroom, but sadly we need 60″ or smaller. In previous apartments, I had these counter stools and absolutely loved them! They’re surprisingly comfy and held up so well for the five years I had them… Still looked brand new when I sold them. We currently have this lamp in our living room and ordered these sconces for beside our bed.
I’ve been living in this hoodie. I got a medium, but would maybe order another color in a large. It’s TTS, but I like my sweatshirts oversized.

I’ve been challenging myself to clean out my closet and be better about listing things on Poshmark! But FYI: I have to put my shop on ‘vacation mode’ on Saturday night since we’ll be leaving on Sunday. So if you want to order anything, make sure you get it in today or tomorrow unless you don’t mind waiting until February.
Have you guys had the VooDoo flavor of Zapp’s Chips?! Holy moly, they’re like salt & vinegar meets barbecue kind of?! So delish. I found them at Potbelly, but they’re on Amazon, too.
I missed the star-studded grand opening party this week, but I can’t wait to check out Alamo Drafthouse Cinema sometime soon! Dave is a big movie buff and since it opened not too far from us in Wrigleyville, I’m sure it will be a place we frequent the rest of this winter. Film, food, and drink all in one spot… What more could you ask for?!
