What. a. week. Work (with my consulting clients) has been pretty crazy this month, so I haven’t had much time to devote to the blog lately! I’m trying to remember to share more on Instagram stories (as I kind of went dark for a few months) so be sure to take a peek there if I’m quiet here.
This week was one of extremes… Exciting highs and low lows. I got some fairly devastating news with a big project I’ve been working on, which took the wind out of my sails on Wednesday and Thursday. But I took a bit of a mental health day today to recharge, get organized around the house, and plan for the weeks ahead.
I mentioned this on IG stories earlier this week, but my boyfriend and I are taking a road trip out west during the week between Christmas and New Years. Neither of us have traveled this year so we’d been itching for a change of scenery and ended up planning a little road trip through Nebraska, Colorado, Utah, and California. While it’s a lot of hours in the car, I’m actually really looking forward to it, and thankfully it’s right around the corner!
Here are this week’s finds…
Just ordered Jen Sincero’s new book!
I ordered these boots in black for hiking in the national parks!
For my local Chicago gals: you have to check out the wine delivery app, Vinifynd. It was started by two women who’ve worked in wine distribution, and they’re able to find amazing deals on wine that you can’t find at Binny’s, Vin, Whole Foods, etc. New wines are released each Sunday, and you just have to place your order by Wednesday for Friday delivery.
Lele just launched a mask set with Eataly that supports the Independent Restaurant Coalition. All of the styles are guy + girl friendly, which are always nice to have around the house or car.
I’ve heard amazing things about these faux leather leggings and they’re 60% off today!
How freaking fab are these monogrammed flats?!
Someone tell me I don’t need these sneakers…
I was absolutely blown away by this interview with Ian Rogers on Group Chat… It’s the first 30ish minutes of the episode!
Majorly lusting over these leopard mules.
These pumpkin lasagna rollups sound interesting and look delish!
This mushroom gravy also looks so, so good!
These cashmere slippers look like the most luxurious gift to yourself for making it through this insane year!
Or if you’re looking to splurge, this rainbow cardigan is so, so cute.
For my orange & blue fans (Bears, Illini, etc.)… Some cute knits to show your pride in a more subtle way!
How fun is Jenn’s resort collection?
BaubleBar has a ton of last minute gifts for $20!
