Friday Finds || Weeks 41 & 42

Bows & Sequins shares her tips for staying on track during the fall and holiday season!

Happy Friday, friends! I’m back in Chicago for the foreseeable future (no upcoming travel plans!) and it’s felt good to catch back up on work and return to a little bit of a routine. I’m finally unpacked from all of my trips and working on getting my apartment back to looking like a home instead of a disaster zone. It’s been a low-key week, but very much needed. I don’t have any real plans for the weekend, but sometimes those are my favorite. That’s pretty much it from me this week… Links below to all of the finds I’ve been loving the last two weeks!

I love Liz’s fall mantle over her fireplace!

These Chinoiserie painted pumpkins are all sorts of amazing.

The winter village at Bryant Park in NYC is always one of my favorite holiday attractions. I can’t believe it’s opening before Halloween, but that’s another story.

MAJOR apartment envy over Danielle’s home (in my neighborhood!) … Check it out on Arch Digest! (You can check out the rest of Danielle’s home tours here… She’s SO talented!)

Speaking of home decor, Julia just designed the most beautiful rug with Lulu & Georgia! I’m thinking of updating my bedroom a little bit and I so badly want to purchase this rug to kick off the process.

Love the monogrammed varsity letters on this phone case!

You guys, SEQUINS ARE BACK. There is always a resurgence of sequins before the holidays, but this fall sequins, sparkles, and glitter are all the rage. Here are some of my favorites…

What do you think of these silver sequin booties? Too much, or just right with an otherwise plain outfit?

This old list of favorite outfits made me laugh.

Obsessed with this green faux suede jacket! (I have it in two other colors, but this jade shade is calling my name.)

I was browsing on Old Navy (their SuperCash promo starts tomorrow!) and fell in love with a lot of their coats. Favorites below!

Kind of kicking myself for splurging on this jacket, because I just found this one that’s almost identical for a small fraction of the price. Also loving this bomber, too!

On my wish list: this forrest green turtleneck with gold button detailing!

Absolutely loving this dress for the holidays or any upcoming dressy events!

Yep, going to need these shearling booties this winter. Perfect for a trip to Aspen! Speaking of ski trips, how cute is this sweater?! This sherpa pullover is adorable, too.

I recently came across Good Threads and I love their mission… They provide quality employment to Haitians and each needlepoint belt feeds a child for two weeks!

BlankNYC has so many great jackets on Nordstrom right now!

I normally don’t like black and orange together, but this sweater is a definite exception!

If you’ve got a warm-weather vacay planned, you’ve got to see this cute lace-up one-piece! It’s one of my favorite swimwear brands, their fit is always great.

Yep, going to need these Paris PJs. This sleep shirt is also on my wish list!

We’ve talked how I’m all about a statement faux fur jacket… So in love with this colorblocked number, this navy jacket, and this coat with a removable collar.

Whyyyyy does this plaid skirt have to be $785?! 😩 It’s so so so so perfect otherwise. (This one is sort of similar for a mere $34, though! And this one for $60, too!!)

How cute are these little disco ball earrings?

Has anything ever said Jessica Sturdy like this necklace? One part dainty bow necklace, one part bottle opener. 😂😂😂 Dying.

Because I always love when you show your Orange and Blue picks, what would you wear to an Illini game in Vegas? They’re playing at the MGM in December and I’m going!

That will be a fun game to go to! I have an orange & blue outfit going live next Friday, but here are some outfit ideas until then…

      1. For a sporting event, you can’t go wrong with a pair of jeans, a tee, and a cool pair of sneakers. I love these! http://bit.ly/2yWuQn4
      2. A simple navy or orange top with a necklace like this: http://bit.ly/2isd0kL
      3. Sail to Sable has two great sweaters for Illini fans right now… http://bit.ly/2iqqzRK & http://bit.ly/2iofMrs … I have both!
      4. This is a cute blouse option! http://bit.ly/2yWIw1r
      5. For something a lot more casual, an orange and blue plaid shirt works. http://bit.ly/2isdcR1
