Friday Finds: Vol. 5, No. 5

Happy Friday, friends! It’s been forever since I’ve shared a list of Friday Finds, but I’m excited to finally feel back in the swing of things after a whirlwind of a summer. I’m also very excited to be staying in town this weekend… We got up to Northern Michigan two weekends ago for one last summer hurrah! This weekend we’ve got a wedding for one of Dave’s friends in the city so we’ve got plans on Friday and Saturday evenings, but I’m looking forward to laying low and hanging around our house and neighborhood on Sunday and Monday. We’re also dog sitting all weekend so we’ve got a full house with two big pups!

Here are this week’s finds…

My color-blocked swing dress is currently 50% off! It’s the perfect transition piece from summer to fall with the pretty hydrangea blue paired with a rich navy. The Charlotte Dress is from Jenn Lake’s collection with Sail to Sable and the style has been a best seller! It’s so easy to throw on with sneakers or dress up for a fun party. I actually have it in a full sequin fabric that you can peep here!

I have a chunky cream cardigan that I always get so many compliments on and people are always floored when I say it’s from H&M! I’ve had it for a couple of years (still going strong after countless washes!), but they have a similar style right now so I wanted to share. Would definitely recommend scooping it up! (Also available in grey and green!)

I’m starting to plan ahead for my fall and Halloween decor… So excited to have more space and outdoor space to decorate this year! I started a list on Amazon with some chic finds… Velvet pumpkins, brass skulls, cozy candles, etc.

I have these $25 slides from Target in black that I’ve been wearing all summer, but I just saw the off white color is on sale for the weekend so it was a no brainer. Perfect for transitioning into fall!

Umm… There are some gems in the Hill House sale section!!

It’s time to start thinking about layering pieces and I’m *loving* Jacket 1 and Jacket 11 by One/Third.

One of my most used bags this summer has been my Mersea tote! It’s such a great price for the quality with leather wrapped handles. So chic and it even fits my laptop.

They had me at Chardonnay Oil… I’ve been using this sunscreen oil for laying out this summer and it’s currently on sale!

Speaking of things I have and love… You’re going to want to scoop up this Sandro sweater on sale. It’s the cutest! I’ve worn it with jean shorts on a cool day, over a navy blue dress, etc. It’s the perfect piece to throw on as temperatures go down!

Another H&M find… How chic is this belt?!

If you’re in Chicago, we ate at Mi Tocaya in Logan Square this week and it was incredible! Highly recommend, we already made another reservation.

And since we were on a Mexican kick, Dave made these Mahi Mahi tacos last night and they were probably the best upscale fish tacos I’ve ever had. I say upscale because I had some pretttyyyy good fish tacos when I was living in Mexico City on Remote Year, but I’d say those were more casual. The recipe was definitely involved, but it was *so* good.
