Amazon Prime Big Deal Days

Chicago lifestyle blogger Jessica Sturdy of Bows & Sequins shares the best buys in Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days.

Ahhh the day is finally here… Day 1 of Amazon’s Big Deal Days for Prime members! This October 10th and 11th, Amazon is having a BIG two-day sale exclusively for Prime members, similar to Prime Day in the summer. As a part of the Amazon Influencer program, I was able to get a sneak peek at the sale products ahead of time. I went through *every*single*deal* (thousandssss!) to make sure I was bringing you the best of the best.

No matter if you’re getting a head start on holiday shopping, saving some dough on your favorite beauty products, or upgrading some of your existing home products, my hope is this guide will be your one-stop-shop!

I’ve broken it down into a few parts for easy shopping… Products that are on deal for the first time ever, products that are at their best prices of the entire year, the best beauty buys, my favorite deals on home upgrades and electronics, as well as items to consider for holiday gifting!

On Deal for the First Time

I know it can sometimes seem like you’re seeing the same products in sales year after year, so I wanted to highlight the products that are on deal for the first time ever!

Breville Espresso Maker | This has been on my wishlist for years! Chances are it’s on someone’s wedding registry, so grab a few friends and go in on a group gift together. But snag it 25% off, of course!

Sennheiser Headphones | I first heard of this brand from a guy who works in audio. Apparently, they’re supposed to be wayyyy better for your hearing and ear health than Beats. When I first saw them years ago, they were not very cute so I never really considered them. But now they’ve definitely got a chic look to them! I need a new pair of wireless over-the-ear headphones so adding these to my Christmas list.

Dyson V12 & V15 Vacuums

T3 Curling Iron | 30% off

Staub Mini Pumpkin Bakeware Dishes | I got two of these in black last year for soup season, but they’re also great to keep on the counter for candy!

Best Price of the Year

No need to wait for a Black Friday or Cyber Monday sale… All of these items are at their BEST prices of the entire year!

Frame TVs | We have three of these… One in our living room, one in the guest room, and one in our primary bedroom. Not only do they look way more aesthetically pleasing, but the sound and picture quality are also great. They’re really nice in rooms that get a lot of sun because they have a Kindle-like finish that’s almost like an anti-glare? Anyway, I’ve never seen them with prices this good! The 55″ (the size we have in our bedroom) is FORTY PERCENT OFF.

Peloton Bikes | All things Peloton are on sale, including the Bike, Bike+, and accessories. The Original Bike is 25% off and that comes with Free Assembly and Overnight Deliveryโ€ฆ You could literally have the Bike in your house TOMORROW for $1095. (Thatโ€™s when Iโ€™m looking with my delivery address in Chicago, so there may be an extra day or two if youโ€™re not in a major city.)

The Bike+ (which is what we have, with the bigger, rotating, anti-reflective screen) is 20% off, making it less than $2k. Again, with free assembly and overnight delivery. You could have it in your home TOMORROW! Don’t miss the mat for under the bike (to protect your floors!) for 40% off.

If you’ve already got a Peloton bike and have been wearing out your shoes for the last three to four years, maybe it’s time to grab a new pair while they’re 30% off!

Bose Over-the-Ear Headphones | These are the only over-the-ear headphones I’ve ever had and I’ve always loved them! The noise canceling is top-notch for both travel and work-from-home. If you or someone you know is overdue for a headphone upgrade, these are a no-brainer.

Bissell Pet-Friendly Vacuum | You know me, I’m more of a Bissell gal when it comes to vacuums. Our *exact* vacuum is marked down to $99. Works like magic on allllll of our surfaces that are constantly covered in Marley’s fur.

Laniege Lip Balm | I’ve got to be honest, I’ve always thought the Sleeping Mask was pretty overrated. I recently got this lip balm to try out and I hate to admit that I do like it. (Why am I like this?? Sometimes I just have an aversion to ‘viral’ products.)

Waterpik | My dentist recommended that I get a WaterPik last fall and once I looked up how big and bulky they were, I skipped that suggestion. Dave and I share a bathroom with barely any counter space and not much storage so I wasn’t about to use my sacred space for skincare to house an ugly WaterPik machine. SO when I saw this cute little cordless Waterpik that can fit in a drawer, I had to add it to my cart. 30% off!

Amazon Essentials Turtleneck | I got this last week and love the fit! It’s got way more stretch than the J.Crew tissue turtlenecks, which makes it a lot easier to layer.

Casper Pillows | We have these in our guest room because they’re a good-for-every-type-of-sleeper pillow! If your guest room needs a refresh before holiday hosting, check these out.

Pet Grooming Device | If I had more storage space, I would 500% buy this device to try it out. There are certain months (usually when the seasons are changing) that it feels like Marley’s hair is EVERYWHERE and I wish I could just vacuum the loose hair off of her. 😂

The Best Beauty Buys

Back in July, I said that the beauty deals were the hottest category of Prime Day and they’re not far behind for Big Deal Days! Soooo many good deals on some of my (and likely your) favorite beauty products.

PCA Hyaluronic Serum | I cannot believe PCA is finally on Amazon!!!! It used to be so hard to find outside of a facialist’s office. Their Hyaluronic Serum is my absolute favorite! It’s the closest thing to Botox in a bottle, as it really does pump up your skin and smooth out lines. It’s quite pricey and you never see it on sale, so take advantage of the 20% off!

Verb Ghost Hair Products | Their Shampoo & Conditioner are all great for smoothing frizzy hair without weighing it down! One of my all-time favorite shampoos/conditioners, currently in my shower right now.

L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil | This is a winter must-have… I love it so much! The smell is divine and it makes your skin so soft.

IGK Spray | I canโ€™t blow dry my hair without this! Itโ€™s like a Keratin treatment in a can. A light mist of this on damp hair before you blowdry and itโ€™s like youโ€™ve flatironed your hair. And it really helps block the frizz and humidity, too! Itโ€™s a must-have product for me. If you have frizzy or color-treated hair, I know you will love it. My hair salon swears by it, thatโ€™s how I got hooked!

Travel Mirror | I got this a few months ago and have used it way more than I thought I would! It’s perfect for when Dave and I are traveling and only have one bathroom in a hotel. I’ve even used it when staying with friends or family to be able to get ready in the bedroom and not take up a bathroom! But I’ve been shocked at how much I’ve used it at home, too. Good lighting is sometimes hard to come by.

T3 Hair Dryer | I adore my Dyson hair dryer, but I know it’s astronomically expensive. Before I got it, I had the T3 and absolutely loved it.

Anastasia Brow Products | My latest obsession is the Brow Powder Duo (Medium Brown) with this brush. I’ve been using it exclusively for the last six months and I’m totally hooked. Iโ€™ll share a video on my IG Stories today! I finish with a swipe of clear brow gel when Iโ€™m finished.

COSRX Daily Gel Moisturizer | Ordering this for Dave for the winter! Whenever I’m looking for skincare for him, I have to be strategic and try to find a workhorse of a product that will be his one and only. I’ve heard great things about this one and it has rave reviews.

My Favorite Deals in Home & Electronics

Nebula Projector | We bought this projector in July and have loved using it on the roof for watching baseball and football games after dusk, live-streaming concerts, and watching movies, too. Itโ€™s completely cordless, auto-focuses, and has pretty good sound on its own — although we usually link to the Sonos Move for even better sound. Very easy to set up!

Silk Pillow Cases | I bought these silk pillowcases about a month ago and we both love them! They’re supposed to be great for your skin and hair.

Nespresso Machine | You know I canโ€™t live without this thing. (My review here!)

SaluSpa Inflatable Hot Tub  |  I gave Dave this last year for our Anniversary and admittedly, we’ve never taken it out of the box. My thought was to try to find ways to enjoy our rooftop outside of summer and kept coming across this inflatable hot tub. So my personal review is TBD, but it has great reviews online!! I cannot believe it’s 45(!!)% off.

KitchenAid Stand Mixer | I feel like I really only use my stand mixer in Q4, but it still excites me every time! In fact, I used it for pumpkin bread this past Sunday. It takes the arm fatigue out of baking, which is a major win! Comes in very handy for all of the holiday baking on the horizon, too.

Holiday Gifts

Golf Caddie App + Sensors | I saw this and thought it looked like an epic gift for golf enthusiasts! I know a bunch of my girlfriends’ husbands would love it. Winner of four straight Golf Digest Editorโ€™s Choice Awards for โ€œBest Game Analyzer, โ€ Arccos Caddie is golfโ€™s first and only fully automatic performance tracking system. It features 14 sensors, one for every club in their bag.

Fujifilm Square Instant Camera | I’m such a sucker for these Instax cameras! They’re such great mementos and make for excellent gifts.

ChomChom Hair Roller | You know how much I love this thing. In fact, I know how much you love this thing. Seeing as we all probably have one, these are great for gifting to new dog owners! Or even a gift idea for your dog sitter. I use this thing on any surface I can… upholstered furniture, bedding, rugs, you name it. FYI: It comes in black now, too!

Aerogardens | Dave got an AeroGarden two years ago (before we had actual outdoor space) and itโ€™s so easy to grow herbs and vegetables indoors! I think this would be especially fun if you had kids because they grow SO fast. Great winter activity!

LiquidIV | I stopped drinking LiquidIV earlier this summer (now a LMNT girlie), but Dave still drinks the Sugar-Free during his long bike rides on the Peloton. I’ve always been the one to keep them stocked in the pantry, so this past weekend when we were ordering on Costco, Dave was like OMG, these are expensive! I was like, you should see the price at the grocery store. So yeah, take advantage of 30% off! Great to have around the house during the holiday season, and great for stocking stuffers.

Ice Roller | Always one of my favorite stocking stuffers to recommend!

Bocce’s Bakery Treats | These are the only treats I buy for Marley since they’re natural ingredients! They’re currently over 25% off, so grab a few bags for all of the doggo stockings you need to fill this year.
