The Drugstore Beauty Brand I Like

Beauty Blogger Review: Versed Skincare
I feel like Iโ€™ve finally come out of the skincare rut that I found myself in January and February. Between the freezing cold temperatures and not really feeling like I had much of a routine, my skin felt so dull, red, and breakout-prone. Not a good look!

Two-ish years ago, I shared a post about when my skin looked and felt itโ€™s best. (You can read that here!) Post cleansing, I was super regimented about using a Vitamin C serum, followed by a HA (hyaluronic acid) intensifier, before applying moisturizer. Unfortunately for all of us, those SkinCeuticals serums are over $100 – each. And, believe me, I understand spending $300 on skincare is not always in the olโ€™ budgeโ€™! ย

Iโ€™ve used Versedโ€™s Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm for ages, so when I was browsing around at Target earlier this year (as one does! 🙃), I decided to grab a few more of their products to try out.

Versed Skincare Clean Drugstore Beauty Brand Reviewed

Iโ€™ve using a combination of their Stroke of Brilliance Brightening Serum + Hydration Station Booster with HA and I swear my skin looks 100x better than it did a month ago! And each one bottle is only $19.99. I’ve realized that the two products my skin reacts to best are Vitamin C + Hyaluronic Acid, as well as consistency in my routine! I’ve been using both morning and night, and couldn’t be more impressed for the drugstore price point.

Versed Skincare Stroke of Brilliance Brightening Serum: SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic Dupe for $20 (that's clean!!)

I love how each of them have very specific directions on the bottle! You know me, all about that extra detail. But with skincare especially, it takes the guesswork out! When to apply, how to apply, why you should apply, where to apply, etc.

Clean SkinCeuticals Dupe: HA Intensifier for only $20

Extra bonus points: Versed is very clean โ€” Vegan, Cruelty-Free, Fragrance-Free, and also free of Parabens, Silicone, Sulfates (SLS/SLES), Formaldehyde, Petroleum, and Mineral Oil. (Donโ€™t mind me just casually regurgitating the packaging, haha!) But thatโ€™s their whole mantra โ€” Versed is the cleanest drugstore skincare brand. Period. Because clean products and good skincare should be accessible for all! You can read more about all of that here.

Speaking of packagingโ€ฆ Their packaging is recyclable and bunch of their products are made from recycled plastic, too!

While this blog post is not sponsored (just a fan girl over here!), Versed actually gave me a code for you guys to use โ€” code JESSICASTURDY10 will give you 10% off at VersedSkin.com!
