I’ll get into more of what I packed for South America soon, but my suitcase contains nothing but neutrals. (Hey, they’re the easiest to mix and match!) But even if you’re not living out of a single suitcase, a monochromatic outfit of creamy neutrals always looks chic. Especially after Labor Day!
I got this white denim skirt earlier this summer and I have to admit… It was my first time wearing a denim skirt since high school and I’m still not sure how I feel about it! Ha, kidding. I’m into it now, but it did take me a little while to come back around.
I paired the bright white skirt with a few different neutral hues… A cream-colored sweater, an embossed circle bag that pulls the two together, and round sunglasses to match. To finish it off, I put on a pair of nude leather pumps that are probably the most comfortable I’ve ever worn… More on that below!
Inez is a new-to-me footwear brand that puts function first! The shoes are classic and beautiful, but actually made with wearability in mind… What a novel concept, haha!
I was super impressed with the ordering process from start to finish… They’ll send you two different sizes to test out (click “Add a backup pair for free!”), and a return label to send back the pair that doesn’t fit within two weeks. (I ended up keeping the 9 I ordered as a backup instead of the 8.5 I assumed would fit, so I was glad to have had the backup pair from the get-go!) The shoes are handmade in Spain, so you know the quality is there, too! I’ll be wearing these nude leather pumps for years to come. They’re not cheap by any means, but they’re very reasonably priced for a pair of well-made leather pumps, especially when they’re crafted with comfort in mind!

PS: As I’m sure you’ve noticed since I got this bag in March (I think it’s been in 90% of outfit posts since then…), I’m absolutely *obsessed* with this little round bag. It’s the Brahmin “Lane” bag and it’s available in so many different textures, colors, patterns, etc. It has a removable crossbody strap (that’s adjustable!) and it surprisingly fits a lot inside. My giant mophie, my iPhone 8 Plus, my wallet, keys, and lipstick, and a small sunglass sleeve all fit inside. And there’s an outside pocket, too! It’s great for weekend, going out, dinner dates, etc. The round shape is super chic and on-trend, too!
Great look – love the sweater!!

I just want to say… I love this outfit, and this is what i miss from fashion blogging! There’s something so fresh about this outfit that i would not have thought of, but love the idea of the paired neutrals and the white denim skirt. So many bloggers are just pushing the same looks/brands, but i love how you actually put this together, which is the art that is disappearing. You go girl! 🙂
Love the neutral color palette!

My wife and i felt so comfortable that Emmanuel could complete his research from the ideas he made out of your site. It’s not at all simplistic just to continually be handing out guidelines which usually other people might have been selling. And now we consider we need the blog owner to appreciate for that. The explanations you’ve made, the straightforward web site menu, the relationships you assist to foster – it’s all astounding, and it is helping our son and our family reckon that that subject matter is amusing, and that’s especially mandatory. Thank you for everything!
