Happy 2016! I know it’s alreadyย the 4th, but I feel like today is the first real day of the year, you know? As much as I was ready to get back into my routine, I have a feeling that a whole lot of caffeine is going to be requiredย today. More coffee, please!
Now that we’re back at our desksย after almost two weeks, it’s totally understandable if you can’t concentrate and need to take a little shopping break. Your secret is safe with me! If Santa missed something on your list, or you’ve got some shopping to do for the months ahead, today’s the day to start browsing around.
Since it just got pretty chillyย in Chicago over the last few weeks, I’m just now thinking about cold weather gear. I’m actually heading to Aspen in a few weeksย (and hopefully Sundance, too!) so I’ve got to do a bit of shopping before I go! I posted this last winter as I was heading to ski at Big Sky and it’s still serving as my apres-ski inspiration. I need a cute coat that’s actually warm,ย stylish snow boots, and a few fun accessories. I’m also really in the mood for a new pair of sunglasses (these, specifically), but again, trying to be good.
If you’ve got a warm-weatherย escape coming up, it’s time to start thinking about what you’re going to pack! Such a lovely little distraction from the cold weather and snow showers in the forecast.
And don’t forget to scoop up some newย workout wear to help stick to those resolutions!
I feel like *everything* is on sale right now. I’m trying to be good (shopping less and saving more are on my list of things to work on this year!), butย I’ve rounded up a few sales that I have my eyes on this morning.
