If you haven’t noticed, it’s been the summer of the Nap Dress! The term was trademarked by Hill House (formerly Hill House Home) who coined the term when branching out from bedding to women’s clothing.
Don’t let the name fool you… While a few styles are sheer and meant for lounging around the house, most of the Nap Dresses can be worn in public, too! I actually wrote a post last summer called Nap Dresses & Needlepoint and the brand is even more on fire this summer. But the dresses aren’t just for summer… I got one of the coveted plaid nap dresses last winter and wore it with a turtleneck and tights layered underneath!
I’ve been l-i-v-i-n-g in Nap Dresses this summer. I’ve amassed quite the collection over the last year, and over on Instagram I always get the question, “But how do you get them?!” My answer is simple and the same every time… I stalk the brand for their drop dates and I set an alarm. If shopping was a sport, I’d be in Tokyo right now.
Every Nap Dress drop sells out! Especially in smaller sizes and limited edition prints. So you’ve got to act fast. But lucky for you, there is a Nap Dress drop TODAY! You’re welcome.
The Trellis Collection re-launches today at 11am CST / 12pm EST!

Nap Dress Sizing
Each product page on their website gives you a good indicator on if you should size down, size up, or stick with your normal size. Most dresses are available in XS-2XL!
For reference, I wear a Small in the Ellie Dress. Since it’s flowy and smocked, I could probably try an XS, but comfort is the name of the game for me.
