Happy Saturday! It’s been a minute, but I wanted to pop back in with a Friday Finds post this week. I moved a couple of weeks ago, spent a week at a lake house in Michigan, and have just been settling in to summer. Summer obviously looks a lot different this year, but I’m trying to enjoy the slower pace, spend as much time as I can outside, and make the most out of this unique time.
Hope you have a great weekend! It’s going to be a hot one here in Chicago and my new inflatable pool came just in time. 😎
Here are this week’s finds…
I’m so excited about (virtually) attending this astrology meets dating workshop next week! One of the hosts is the dating coach that I had on my podcast last summer, you can listen to that episode here.
I wanted to share this campaign that seeks to bring awareness to the subtle steps that non-African-Americans can take to affect sustained and impactful change in our communities. Champions of Change is a nonprofit founded by 15-year old Jeremiah West and his 12-year old brother, Joshua.
I’ve only gotten a few small servings of Brightland Olive Oil (from Ingrained and Foxtrot here in Chicago!), but Grace’s glowing review has me wanting to order a few bottles to have at home! Alive and Awake are their ‘regular’ oils, but the Lemon and the Chili both have my name written all over them.
They’re on the pricier side for masks ($20), but these lightweight linen masks are my new favorites! They’re fully adjustable (tying behind the ears), the patterns are so cute, and they’re the easiest to breathe in out of any that I have.
I’ve been wanting a pair of these linen overalls for-ev-er and they’re finally available for pre-order. I’ve heard to go up a size for the oversized look, and cuff the legs twice for that effortless look! Truly cannot decide between the white or the natural. Thoughts?
An easy summer cocktail to enjoy on the balcony or in the backyard!
This rattan bag (under $30!) is too dang cute.
My wish list at Abercrombie is a mile long right now… And everything is under $100, and on sale, too! I’m loving this leopard puff-sleeve cardigan, this cropped cami, this bodysuit, and these high-waisted jeans.
I’m obsessed with these rope sandals and they’re 50% off!
This cable-knit hoodie is such a great summer sweater and also 50% off!
The new Lululemon arrivals are sooo good… Loving all of these new pant colors and patterns!
Mackenzie’s sailing photos are gorgeous!
They’re obviously still a splurge, but the Gucci Princetown loafers are $80 off today! (In Black only.) They’re available in all sizes, too. You might remember that I have these in gingham (seen here) and they’re easily my favorite pair of shoes. So comfortable, no break-in time. I’m majorly lusting after a black pair that I could wear much more often, but it’s just not in the ol’ budg’ right now.
My friend Merritt has these sunglasses and I was absolutely obsessed with them when she wore them during our trip to Japan. They’re so, so cool, and shockingly not that hard to pull off when you have them on. They’re very expensive for sunglasses, but much more attainable at this sale price. They’re over 50% off making them about the price of most other designer sunglasses. They also come in orange if you’re feeling bold! Would be cute for football games if your team has orange in their colors. Again, not in the budget right now, but hopefully I can track them down some day!
