What I Wore in Lima, Peru

At long last… (Almost) every outfit I wore in Lima! If you missed the memo, I was living in Peru for one month earlier this fall. My Remote Year program started in Lima, so I spent the month of September living in the Miraflores neighborhood in the coastal capital. Here, you’ll find my daily outfits that I wore to work, as well as a few “sidetrips” to Huacachina, Cusco, and Machu Picchu, too.

And just to give you a little preview… I recently shot all of the photos for a big blog post breaking down every single item in my suitcase! Coupled with this outfit round up, hopefully you can get a better idea of how I’m mixing and matching my wardrobe while I’m here. Stay tuned! (Plus, all of my Medellin outfits coming soon, too.)

When I started my “What I Wore Last Week” series at the beginning of the summer, I had no idea that I’d be uprooting my life, subletting my apartment, and moving to South America a few short months later. I thought about continuing the series when I was in Lima, but I realized that it would be so damn boring, simply because I’m repeating and re-wearing so often! After a lot of thought, I figured giving you a whole month’s worth of outfits at once would illustrate how I’m maximizing my suitcase and how pairing everything together. Since each city we’re staying in (Lima, Medellin, Bogota, & Mexico City) has such a different climate, I think it will be pretty interesting to see how each month’s outfits differ, too.
