How is July 4th tomorrow?! I guess since the weather has been so wishy washy so far, it just hasn’t really felt like summer yet. Do you know what I mean?! Who knows, maybe it’s just me. Since the holiday falls on a Wednesday this year, I don’t have many plans. Some friends are out of town the first half of the week, some the second, some the whole week… so I’ll definitely just be playing it by ear over the next few days. I’m grabbing dinner and drinks with friends tonight, and then plan to watch the fireworks in Chicago tomorrow night! I’ll actually be watching the fireworks from THE AIR, which is going to be pretty badass. Be sure to check my Instagram stories tomorrow night to see it!
On a note that’s not necessarily American…ย MARIO’S ITALIAN LEMONADE!ย Oh my gosh, have you been?! It’s down in Little Italy (1068 W Taylor) and has been there since the 1950’s. I went for the first time a few weeks ago and was so impressed… The Italian ice is not too sweet, not too sour, and doesn’t feel as indulgent as ice cream or gelato. I got the Strawberry, Melissa got the Blue Raspberry, and we both loved them! ย Highly recommend making a trip there this summer.
It wouldn’t be the Fourth of July without a festive red, white, and blue outfit! When I saw this striped bow top a few weeks ago, I knew I needed to have it for the summer, but for July 4th festivities specifically. It’s so easy to throw on with white jeans and sandals and call it a day!
