When I’m having one of those nights where I can’t figure out what to wear out (raises hand every single weekend 🙋🏼), I almost always gravitate towards a bodysuit paired with jeans and heels. (That’s actually not true…ย I’ve been wearing one giant ass boot out for the last 7.5 weeks and left shoe options are extremely limited, but let’s talk the oldย days… 😂) For as much as I wear bodysuits, I was initially surprised to only find this post and this post in the archives. Reason being, I tend to post more of my “daytime” outfits here on the blog and bodysuits tend to be more of a going out look for me. But they really don’t have to be!
I tend to be most comfortable in something a little looser, which is why you can usually find me in flowy tops and sweaters during the day. But I guess you could say I try to show off my shape a little bit more after dark! (That is, when I’m not wearing a turtleneck. 😂ย I have no patience when it comes to being cold.)
But I’ve been coming around to more bodysuits during the daytime, too! When it comes to any type of shirt you have to tuck in, a bodysuit makes things SO MUCH EASIER! It’s that effortless flat-tuck that you don’t have to constantly readjust… It’s pretty great! (You can see this bodysuit tucked into jean shorts here and another bodysuit tucked into a skirt here!) I think the constant fidgeting is what typically steers me towards a flowy top that’s fuss-free… I like my outfits to have ease! But it honestly doesn’t get much easier than a bodysuit. That is, until you break the seal. 🙈ย TMI? ๐
I’m so glad I picked up these black suede slides last summer, because the style is still going strong this spring… They’re a must-have shoe trend this year! And this pair under $90 is the perfect price and heel height for you to wear all season long… 👌🏼ย (They come in 5 colors, too!) Work, happy hour, weekend brunch… The styling options are endless.
Statement earrings are another ‘trend’ that aren’t going anywhere anytime soon… I love these multi-colored tassel earrings, they’re so easy to throw on to give a plain outfit a little bit of personality!

Black Off-the-Shoulder Long-Sleeve Bodysuit
Vineyard Vines ‘Boyfriend’ Jeansย (old; similar here, here, & here!)
Black Suede Slide Sandals
Gucci Marmont Bag
Valentino Sunglassesย (old; similar hereย & here!)
Baublebar Piรฑata Tassel Earrings
Dolce & Gabbana Red Lipstick
What I love most about this outfit is the versatility! As you can probably tell from my frizzy hair, these photos were snapped on a humid day at the end of last summer, but it’s an outfit I still repeat and re-wear. And depending on your bodysuit (sleeveless, long-sleeved, etc), you really can wear an iteration of this outfit all year long! Just swap your slides for booties, sandals, etc. All about that mix & match life!
I can’t get over how you make every outfit so on point You look amazing babe!

Maybe TMI to ask a stranger on the internet, but what kind of bra do you wear with the bodysuit? Love the look but unless it’s got some kind of built-in/ shelf bra situation going on forgoing a bra is a no-go for me…
Any strapless bra reco’s would be MUCH appreciated ๐
Please, we’re all friends here! I’m just wearing my go-to strapless bra. It’s by Vanity Fair and it has silicone grips along the back strap so it stays in place really well! http://bit.ly/2mSnzeo (And I found it on sale here: http://bit.ly/2mqNLk3)
Hope this helps!
So chic! Definitely easy to throw on and look great!
