Weekend Wear: Slides + Camel Coat

Bows & Sequins wearing a long camel coat with boyfriend jeans and black leather loafers.

A long camel coat is one of those style staples that comes in handy during that awkward winter to spring transition! It’s a lighter than the puffer we’ve been schlepping around all winter, but it’s still substantial enough to keep you warm, especially when you’ve got thick layers underneath. It’s actually supposed to be really nice in Chicago this weekend and over the next week… 50’s & 60’s, I’ll take it! I’d like to think I brought the warm weather back from Mexico. 😉

This is an easy outfit that’s perfect for the weekend… It looks sort of pulled together with the fashion-forward pieces (a long camel coat + slip-on loafers), but it’s super comfy and casual. Great for brunch or running errands. Add a fun earring or a bold lip if you need to dress it up a bit more!

I’ve been eyeing those same loafers for months! Would you say that they fit true to size?

I’d go up a half size if you’re in between! I’m usually an 8.5 and I have a 9 in these.

And do they stay on when you walk in them? (Is that a stupid question? I’ve also been eyeing these for months but have yet to pull the trigger because I so often have trouble keeping slides on my feet.)

I think they do! I don’t really find that issue with slides, to be honest. I liked these so much I bought the saddle leather pair, too!
