Leaves on the trees… What are those?! I’ve started the year off with a whole lot of organization, both physically and digitally. I’ve been going through files and photos on my computer and realized there are quite a few outfits that slipped through the cracks and never made it on to the blog. Whoops!
While it’s definitely too cold to wear this ensemble in the midwest nowadays, I figured I’d still share for those of you in warmer climates. And Im sharing a few ways that I plan on styling this suede skirt this winter, too!
For transitioning your fall outfits to winter wear, you can always layer a thin turtleneck tee or a crisp, white shirt under your sweaters for an added layer of warmth. And tights, obviously! Remember when I styled this skirt with a black sweater? I’ve worn that exact same outfit with a pair of black tights. So easy! Add a patterned tight to get a little crazy. (Another option here & here!) I love the look of this suede skirt with a chunky white sweater layered over a chambray shirt, too. When it comes to this amazing cognac color, I like it mixed with deep jewel tones (navy, dark green, deep purple) and lots of neutrals (black, white, cream, grey, etc.). Don’t forget about your dark navy stripes, either! I also think it would be really pretty with a blush pink sweater. A printed sweater would work, too!
