Denim & Stripes

There’s nothing I love more than classic staples to build your wardrobe around! Striped tee shirts, chambray that can be dressed up or down, structured blazers, and a few great pair of jeans definitely make the list. I’ve teamed up with Lands’ End today to feature some of their new pieces that are the perfect foundation for your fall wardrobe.

Landsโ€™ย Endย has re-launched their denim collection to offer new washes, expanded fits and a better stretch. The price point is pretty fab! Starting at just $59ย for solids and $69 for patterns, you can have a few pairs to rely on to take you from day to night. They are available in low rise, mid rise and high rise, so there’s a fit for everyone. And of course, chambray shirts and denim shirt dresses round out the collection!

We’ve had a few days this month that have felt an awful lot like fall. There’s been a cool, crisp breeze that’s a frightening reminder that summer is coming to an end. At least for me, fall fashion is the best way to beat those end-of-summer blues!

I styled two fall looks with pieces from the new Lands’ End collection. The striped tee has the best fit and is so easy to layer under a chambray dress, a chambray shirt, or under a structured blazer. And obviously it looks great on it’s own, too! I paired my combo of stripes + chambray with a leopard belt for a little pop and nude sandals to keep it simple. Once the temperatures do start to dip, you can easily swap out your sandals for a closed-toe pump!

For the second look, I styled a classic, casual Americana look. Lands’ End is a legendary American brand, after all. I paired the same striped tee with a blazer, a great pair of jeans, a pair of white sneakers, and a red clutch to give the outfit a little pop. I wore one of my favorite layered gold chain necklaces to play up the nautical vibe of the striped shirt. Swap out the shoes for the office (or just wear on casual Friday!) and ditch the blazer for the weekend and you’ve got yourself a go-to look that works from desk to drinks.

Hi there! Thanks for the feedback. I apologize that it’s been more quiet than usual around here. I work full-time on top of maintaining my blog and in my limited free time, I’ve been trying to enjoy my summer, rather than spending it behind a computer. Hoping to be back on a regular posting schedule soon! ๐Ÿ™‚

Stripes patterns are part of my life as well, and I love both of these looks. Specially that first one. Thanks for the inspiration. Also great touch with the skinny leopard belt.

Love the second look!! Totally cute. Random questions — your converse shoes — did they come with shorter laces?? If not, where did you get them? My Jack Purcell’s have the longgggggest laces ever, and I want to wear them more like you are. Thanks!!
