My sartorial selections have been a bit predictable lately. If I’m not dressed in head-to-toe black and white, I’ve been gravitating towards ultra-feminine touches — pinks, florals, pastels, etc. Channeling my inner Lilly Pulitzer, I opted to pair my St. Patrick’s Day green with pops of pink. I’ve always loved the fun, colorful combination of kelly green and pink.
A new favorite lipstick: Dolce & Gabbana “Shocking.” It’s the perfect wear-with-anything fuchsia. Plus, I say “shocking” entirely too much in real life so I kind of love the name. 🙂
Last year on St. Patrick’s Day, it was close to 80 degrees in Chicago. This year, it snowed with a vengeance in New York. Well, Saturday anyway. Hallie and I had so much to drink fun on Saturday that there were no Sunday Funday festivities on actual St. Patty’s.
H&M Blouse (old, similar here) / J.Crew Paisley Scarf (old, similar here) / J Brand Jeans / gifted Just Fab Boots / Furla Candy Satchel (loving this glitter version!) / Essie ‘Pansy’ / Dolce & Gabbana ‘Shocking’ / Michael Kors Watch / J.Crew Bracelet
I hope you had a fun St. Patrick’s Day weekend, too!

Love this outfit. Perfect shade of green for St Pats! It was so cold in my city that I had to bundle up and I ended up in forest green 🙂 Wish the weather would turn into Spring already!
Wasn’t the weather crazy this weekend?! Last year it was warm and we went to the St. Patty’s Day parade and this year was freezing & awful 🙁 You are so brave to be out in it without a coat – I would die!
Love this pretty printed scarf & the bright bag 🙂

this is adorable but also, girl how you be standing in the snow without a coat on!?
The things I do for this blog… I may or may not have had a liquid coat on for these pics. My coat was waiting in Hallie’s arms, don’t you worry!
I just love pairing pink and green! Such a great way to brighten a dreary day 🙂

I shot my first wedding of the year on an 80 degree beautiful day last St. Patrick’s Day — way warmer than some I shot in April and May of 2012. This year there’s still a good foot of snow on the ground with more being added today. Bleck! But enough about the weather — that purse is delightful!
Happy belated St. Patty’s! I’m loving your pop of pink in this look.

Adorable outfit! A lot of my friends didn’t celebrate St. Patty’s because of too much fun on Saturday! I spent the day thrifting… what a grandma I am!
