Friday Finds || Vol. 4, Week 10

Lifestyle blogger Jessica Sturdy of Bows & Sequins reading the New York Times Sunday Styles in bed.

Happy Friday! I’m excited for the weekend even though I don’t have much on the calendar… This week was busy on all fronts (workload, events, apartment searching, doctor’s appointment, etc) so I’m looking forward to relaxing a bit. I want to get in a few good workouts, get some good sleep, read, and wander around the city a little bit since it’s supposed to be 50 tomorrow and SIXTY WHOLE DEGREES on Sunday! And spring ahead an hour on Saturday night (or really Sunday morning) for Daylight Savings Time!! I’m all for losing an hour of sleep if it means the days are longer. Hope you have a great weekend! xoxo

Here are this week’s finds…

Why Hand Washing Could Really Slow Down an Epidemic

Please everyone read this article about active skincare ingredients! I recently watched a nighttime skincare routine that combined so many different acids, ingredients, and retinol. 🤯 One at a time people! Irritation aside, you’re wasting your money because they can’t all absorb into the skin at once.

If you’ve ever been curious about energy healing, READ THIS. (You have the option to listen, too!)

Julia opened up about her relationship with blogging and I loved reading it, as I share many of the same sentiments.

I LOVED this podcast episode, as it really helps to explain “flow,” and what that can look like.

Looking forward to listening to Hitha’s new podcast, 1 Smart Thing!

So excited to try this new sunscreen!

I ordered this magnesium supplement this week… Can’t wait to try it for sleep!

I’m obsessed with this small knot bag… It’s under $40 so I might just get it in both colors. Such a fun size for spring/summer, and very on-trend!

Mrs. Meyers has a new soap scent and you’re going to want to STOCK THE HECK UP!

I can’t wait to decorate with pampas grass once I move into my new apartment.

I thought this initiative from First Aid Beauty was definitely worth a mention… They’re committing $1 million to pay off student debt, as well as 10% of sales from Fab Aid Ultra Repair Creams.

I’m convinced Anthropologie got a new buying team because I rarely ever shop for clothes there, but their new arrivals ARE SO GOOD!! Feels like a better price point, too. Here are all of my favorites…

And you can now shop for vibrators on their site, so maybe the buying team really did change! 😂😂 (PS: This is the brand Gwenyth Paltrow recommends! via goop)

How cute is this striped sweater set?! NEED.

How to Hire a Nanny

This jacket is so cute for any brides-to-be!

New Arrivals from Tuckernuck got me like… 🤩

PS: I posted a “Getting Ready with Me” video on IGTV this week! You can watch it here.
