What I Wore Last Week

Happy Monday! (That is what day it is, right?) The last few days have totally blended together as I’ve barely left my bed… I woke up sick with a fever and what felt like the flu on Thursday morning, slept the entire day/night, and was finally able to get myself out of the house and to the doctor on Friday afternoon to confirm… Yep, influenza A positive. 🙄 The good news is that I went to the doctor in time to get an antiviral prescription (this ain’t my first rodeo) to hopefully lessen the length and severity of symptoms. And I’m praying for a fast recovery! When I got the flu two years ago over Christmas & New Years (2017-2018), it lingered for a solid 14 days, and I reallllllyyyy don’t have time for that right now. I’m definitely feeling better than I did last week, but still feel exhausted and congested. Hopefully a few more days of R&R will kick this virus to the curb. 🙏🏼
