Friday Finds || Vol. 3, Week 38

Happy… Sunday! Friday Finds is coming to you a couple of days late this weekend because I had approximately fifteen other deadlines at the end of the week that took precedent. 😅

It’s been a pretty low key weekend over here, and I can’t say that I’m upset about it. It’s felt really nice to recharge a little bit after a fairly chaotic summer! On Friday, I grabbed tacos and margs with two of my college girlfriends on the Big Star patio to take advantage of the summer-like weather. (And then had a nightcap glass of rosé and an order of frites next door at Cafe Cancale, another one of my neighborhood favorites!)

On Saturday, I slept in, took a Flywheel class followed by a Stretch class at Yoga Six, and then went out to the suburbs to watch the Illinois football game with a few of my college friends. One of my best girlfriends and her husband moved out to the western suburbs this summer so it was fun to finally see their place in person. And she’s actually getting induced next week unless the little guy comes sooner, so it was also great to hang with them one last time before they become a family of three!
