Nothing says summertime like wearing as little clothing as humanly possible. 🙃 I bought this lavender linen tie-front cropped top a while ago and it’s been the perfect match for all of the high-waisted skirts, pants, and denim in my closet. I love how there’s a lot of material and sleeves, too… It makes me feel a little more comfortable wearing it out and about! It’s obviously super cute for a night out, but I thought it would be fun to show you how I’d style it for something a little more dressy for daytime. I actually photographed another outfit with this top, too, so look out for that post on the blog next week.
(And PS: It’s currently on sale + an extra 50% off soooo it’s quite affordable. We’re talking like $15, no joke.)
Does this skirt look familiar?! If so, good memory. It’s from my Spring 2016 collection and I love that it’s still hanging in my closet and getting worn a few years later. The colorful floral pattern makes it so easy to pair with almost any hue on top! Here are a few similar styles currently available…

Did you tape it to your skin? If so, do you have a tape brand recommendation? It seems like any sort of arm movement (those precarious shoulder elastics!) or leaning forward would show nipple. While I’m all about nipple equality because of course women should be able to be topless anywhere men are topless, I’d like the option of staying covered.
No, I didn’t tape it! I use ‘Nippies’ whenever I wear shirts like this or go braless… https://rstyle.me/+8HG0oHJ3s6pBWlossnZSGw
The top is seriously everything!
