This little orange dress has to be one of my most worn in my closet, which is kind of shocking considering the bright hue, short hemline, and backless silhouette, right? I bought it last spring before a trip to Vegas and it’s been on of my go-to “going out dresses” ever since. Chicago, Italy, NYC, Mexico, Montauk, Las Vegas, this dress has made it’s rounds around the world. (You can see how I wore it on the blog last summer here!) It’s fun and flirty, but it’s so easy to wear during the day though, too. Just toss on a little denim jacket and a pair of flat sandals and you’re good to go!
Whenever I’m packing for Mexico, I always opt for my lightest and brightest! It was super humid when I was staying at the Fairmont Mayakoba a few weeks ago and this breezy dress was perfect, especially since I didn’t have to wear a bra. (The best!)
We snapped these photos in El Pueblito at Mayakoba (that the four properties share!) where we grabbed a spicy margarita before heading to dinner. It’s a cute little square that replicates a colonial Mexican town with a few shops and a few different restaurants, too.

How cute are these little pom pom sandals?! They’re so perfect for summer (and winter vacays, too!) because the linen color is so light, the heel is insanely walkable, the ankle strap is super practical, and the colorful little poms pair with just about everything in your closet. They’re a fun little pop for a neutral outfit or wear them with your brightest of brights, like I did with this dress from Revolve!
