I finally made my way to Parson’s Chicken and Fish a few weeks ago and couldn’t have loved it more! The outdoor patio is incredible, the food was amazing, and the red and white striped umbrellas covering the patio are an Instagrammer’s paradise. It was the perfect backdrop for an Americana-inspired red, white, and blue outfit!
We ordered a few things to share, but I’m already anticipating my next trip so I can try a few more things on the menu! Light and healthy, not so much. But sometimes you just can’t say no to southern food!
For drinks, you can’t go wrong with a Steigl Radler in the summertime! We also tried their Negroni slushi per our waiter’s recommendation. I’m usually not a Negroni fan, but it was pretty good!
The food was so, so good! Whenever I see Pimento cheese on a menu, I have to order it. So starting with the Pimento Toast wasn’t even a question! We also ordered Parsons Hot fried chicken, which I thought was just the right amount of spice. I’m also a sucker for pasta salad so we ordered that to balance out the spicy fried chicken. It was the perfect amount to split for two for a light bite in the afternoon!
