Gift Guide: The Jetsetter

best-christmas-gifts-for-the-traveler-jetsetter

I feel like we’ve all been waiting for these Black Friday deals to hit, you know? I have not even started my holiday shopping and I’m anxiously awaiting promo codes in my inbox to make the damage a little bit more manageable. Not to mention, I accidentally lost my Jawbone (I am capable of the highly unlikely, always.) and have been very, very anxiously anticipating my ordering of a new one. (They are 25-55% off on Amazon today only!!)

Any who, with Thanksgiving weekend being some of the most traveled days of the year, I figured a gift guide for the jet-setter was definitely in order. On Instagram, I dub my travels as #JetSetJRS, but I’m by no means as “jetset” as they come. I have so many guy and girlfriends that seemingly live. on. a. plane. You have friends or relatives like that, too, I’m sure. Racking up those miles on work, but man oh man, it takes a lot out of you to travel that often. Little luxuries that make traveling a little bit more of a breeze are absolutely essential.

Luggage Tag  |  Neck Pillow  |  Eye Mask  |  Face Spray  |  Passport Cover  |  Curling Iron Cover  |  Carry-On Cocktail Kit  |  Lip Balm  |  Eye Cream  |  Power Adapter  |  Suitcase  |  Eye Mask  |  Headphones  |  Travel Wallet  |  Adapter Kit

A bright luggage tag is a must if you have to check your bag. I much prefer to always carry-on, but if you have a long trip and need a large suitcase, you’re going to need something bright to spot your bag on the carousel.

Speaking of suitcases, a well-made, hard-sided carry-on suitcase is an absolute must have for any traveler. I invested in one when I graduated from college and it has been beat-up over and over and over and is still going strong!

When it comes to flights, a neck pillow, a facial mist, lip balm, and an eye cream are absolutely crucial when I’m flying more than a few hours. I don’t know about you, but I get so dry 30,000 feet above.

I’ve had this curling iron cover coming on nine years now… It comes in so handy on trips when you’re using hot tools right before you have to check out, or even when you’re getting ready at the gym when you’re not traveling. You can stick your hot straightener or curling iron in it without worrying about a burning situation!

Cashmere sweatpants are such a luxury for long trips! This eye mask is actually made to preserve a youthful appearance and minimize the signs of aging with the copper-infused fibers.

And last but certainly not least, noise-cancelling headphones. That crying kid in seat 12A… Need I say more?
