Is it just me or did this weekend fly by exceptionally faster than usual? I’m basicallyย mainlining coffee this morning…ย So, so sleepy. This weekend was a fun one… On Friday night, Hallie and I met up with Ashley & Natalie at Cindy’s, one of my favorite spots for drinks. From there we went to Bottled Blonde for dinner, a new sports bar that just opened up in River North in Chicago. On Saturday, I went to a friend’s huge (like 50 people huge) Friendsgiving that turned into a rowdy night out. We went to another new spot, Happy Camper, which was really cool! Excited to go back and try their food since it’s the same owners as Homeslice. When I wasn’t eating and drinking my way through Chicago,ย I spent a whole lot of time at SoulCycle. Two master instructors from NY were in town this weekend so it was fun to ride a few times with some of my old favorites!
But it’s back to work this morning! With the holidays and the end of the year approaching, it seems as ifย everyone is starting to feel the squeeze of the clock ticking down. So much to do, so little time. So let’s take a deep breath, make a giant to-do list, and have an extra cup of coffee… It’s all going to get done!
I wore this sweater last week for more of a weekend look, but I paired it with pumps and dark rinse denim for a look that’s work appropriate, at least on Casual Friday if you’re in more of a corporate environment! I love how this short-sleeved sweater is so easy to toss on over a turtleneck, over another sweater, and even over a button-front shirt.

I agree! The weekend went by too fast. This outfit would be perfect for a casual Friday at work. All I would do is switch the heels with some Sperry’s to make it weekend appropriate.
