Double Denim

Outfits that easily transition from day to night are wonderful, especially when you’re short on time. Last Friday was filled with lots of running around during the day and dinner plans in the evening. I needed something easy and comfortable to run errands in so I went with a double denim look. When it came time to hop in a cab to go to dinner, I simply switched my tote for a clutch and my flats for heels. Easier than one, two, three.

I spent Friday evening with my my bff, Ellen. Ellen’s younger sister was celebrating her birthday by having a girls weekend at The Peninsula so we met the girls and Ellen’s stepmom for dinner at Shanghai Terrace. Such a beautiful hotel!

I didn’t have time to take outfit pictures on Friday night so I changed back into my outfit when I got home for Easter on Saturday evening and had my brother snap a few pics. Pardon my haggard appearance and the silly circle over the address plaque on my house! 🙂
