Happy Tuesday! I’m headed to Palm Springs tomorrow for a week-long trip with a fun group of guys and girls. I can hardly wait! I’ve never been to Palm Springs, but have been dying to go for years. It seems like one of the most photogenic places in the US… I could look at pictures of the colorful homes, beautiful pools, chic hotels, palm trees, and mountains for days!
We’ve rented a house for six nights and then one of my besties, Ellen, and I will be staying at The Saguaro hotel on the sixth night. There was a little bit of a mix up about house rental days when we booked our flights, which is why the two of us have an extra night at a hotel. Whoops! Truth be told, I wasn’t upset because I’ve been lusting over the colorful Saguaro hotel on Instagram for ages. Can’t wait to see it in person! Prepare for Instagram overload next week. ๐
Our house is technically in La Quinta, which is closer to Indio and the Coachella grounds than Palm Springs. When we booked, I didn’t realize how far it was from downtown Palm Springs. Or maybe it just seems far on a map? It’s hard to say since I’ve never been! We’re renting a car, but will probably use Uber here and there, too.
I know of a few things I definitely want to do (Brunch at Norma’s at the Parker, Lunch at the Avalon) and we’ve gotten some restaurant recommendations from some friends too. Here’s what’s on our list so far… il Corso, Mitch’s, La Quinta Resort for margs, chips & guac on the front patio, The Cliffhouse, Old Town Coffee Company for coffee and cinnamon rolls, shop at Elizabeth & Prince, eat in the bar at Solanos, and eat outside at Lavender.
What are we missing? Shopping, dining, coffee, drinks, spas, transportation, activities… Anything! Would love for you to leave your Palm Springs recommendations in the comments below! (Or you can tweet or email me.. Whatever works!)
Thanks in advance! xo

Wishes & Reality
You are going to have so much fun!! Palm Springs is one of my favorite places to go with family and friends. My parents and I actually spend Thanksgiving out there now since they moved to Virginia. {Here’s my post from last year}
Here are a couple of thoughts:
— If you can make it for a drink at The Viceroy, the property is amazing.
— The aerial tram had incredible views
— If you have access to a car, go shopping at the Desert Hills outlets. Think Woodbury Common on steroids. Seriously.
— This one may be a little nerdy, but it was the home of Walter and Wallis Annenberg. They have an interesting story and the house has been host to the who’s who of the world. Presidents, foreign dignitaries and . . . The Rat Pack!
Have an amazing trip!!!
