When I’ve been getting dressed lately, I’ve been gravitating towards simple monochromatic looks. No print mixing, no color-blocking, just one main color palette. While I do think these types of looks are classic, they really aren’t that fun. I’m 100% bored with my closet right now. Maybe even 150% bored. I’m truly tired of all of my winter clothes! I want to wear bright, punchy colors, flirty dresses, strappy sandals, and bold floral prints. Immediately!
While I’m admittedly over my winter wardrobe, I’m still trying to find ways to mix it up! When I was on my way back from Florida over the holidays, I accidentally mixed my white jeans with my camel coat. I was wearing my white jeans on the plane and had to toss on my coat once I got back to NYC from the warmer temps. As I was sitting on the train from Newark to Penn Station, I realized that I loved the combination… It felt so fresh! At this point, though, I’m ready to ditch the camel coat and pair my white jeans with my camel blazer. Spring, where you at?
I was actually planning on wearing this outfit with my nude scalloped flats, but I had accidentally left them at a shoot the day before. (I am so forgetful lately, it’s becoming a problem.) I don’t own a pair of nude pumps (also a problem) so I went with leopard instead. I would have preferred a nude shoe, but I think this still works!
Ahhhh! These earrings — I am so, so excited about these earrings! Remember when I blogged about them here? Well I finally got my hands on a pair! My friend Katie from Three Jane is so unbelievably talented and I am totally crushing on all of her new front-back earring styles for spring — ice cream cones, pineapples, trumpets, Eiffel Tower(s), Statue(s) of Liberty, and champagne bottles! (They come in silver, rose, and yellow, too!)

I definitely feel like I’m wearing more neutrals than usual as of late, but I’m totally ok with that. They’re perfect for this time of year!

The whole look is super elegant; I love that you added a bit of leopard print to the outfit – it goes well with the neutral palette! It occurs to me that people mostly tend to pair leopard print with black, so it’s great that you did it differently.

My favorite look you’ve ever posted for sure! Love it.
You look wonderful, this looks very put together. The white bottoms are a little risky to pull off sometimes but it always looks pristine and chic. I would wear something similar without the coat, we don’t have cold weather here in the Philippines hehe. Have a good day!
This is one of my favorite outfits of yours! You look gorgeous and so chic! The combo of white and camel is just so fresh and such a nice change from pairing it with black!

I think this is a great outfit. It’s funny how some outfits are pulled together randomly but work so well in the end!

Ok, now this is how you transition to spring in a place where you can’t wear anything close to shorts in March! LOVE!

Must! Have! The earrings! I love the pineapple ones. I definitely just suggested those to my mom for a birthday gift…in May. Haha.
What a gorgeous look! Could you share the name of the color for your jcrew sweater? I don’t see the cream on the website anymore. Thanks so much! 🙂
