Summertime Staples

I shared my winter skincare regimen back in January and had every intention of posting my summer skincare routine, but here it is September and the season is almost over. Whoops! Better late than never, right?

A few of my products have stayed the same, even as the seasons have changed. But over the summer months, I like to stick to the basics. No fuss, no extra steps or products. Just stick with what works!ย Cut the clutter, ya know?

Cleanser: I’ve been using Freeze 24-7 Skin Glace for over a year now. There really isn’t anything better! It totally removes my makeup and almost feels like a daily detox for my skin. Absolutely love the foaming action! I use it morning and night.

Moisturizer: My summertime go-to has been Eucerin SPF 30. I use it every morning to protect my skin! It’s not oily, it’s not greasy, and the SPF is a must, especially during the summer.

Eye Cream: I’ve also been using Freeze 24-7 Eyecing for over a year and don’t plan on switching anytime soon. It keeps my under-eye area hydrated throughout the entire day. I use it at night, too!

Serum: I used to shy away from anything remotely oily on my skin, but these Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Capsules have totally changed my mindset. I use one of these capsules each night on my face & neck in place of my moisturizer and I honestly feel like I wake up with a little bit of a glow to my skin each morning. Love, love, LOVE.

Whenever I travel, I always bring along samples that I’ve received at Sephora or through Birchbox. A fluffy hotel robe and some spa-like essentials always make me feel a little bit more at home. I was out of town earlier this week and I tried out Bliss Foaming Face Wash and Ahava Mud Mask. Both were perfect for a little pre-Fashion-Week pampering! I really liked both of them and could see myself purchasing the full sizes. I loved how the Bliss face wash had little micro exfoliators, but it wasn’t too drying. The Ahava mask was only 2 minutes, which I liked. Sometimes purifying masks get too dry and I feel like I almost need a razor blade to scrape them off of my face after the 10 minutes. That was not the case with this one!

And speaking of NYFW prep, I’ve swapped out my regular toothpaste for a whitening version. Anything to try to undo all of the Iced Coffees I’ve consumer this summer! I normal shy away from most whitening products because my teeth are SO sensitive. But when I saw this sensitivity version of Crest 3D White, I figured I might as well try it. I’ve been using morning and night and haven’t had any sensitivity issues at all!

Have you tried any of these summertime staples? What do you use regularly? I’m a bit of a product junkie so I’m always interested in hearing what everyone else is loving at the moment! ๐Ÿ™‚

Is Nordstrom the only brick & mortar where you can find the Freeze Glace? I’m on the hunt for a new face wash! Also, do you think it would work with a Clarisonic?

I know it’s in Henri Bendel and maybe Bloomies, too. Hmmm, hard to say with the Clarisonic. I’ve never used one (I know, I can hardly believe that either!), but I would assume that they would work together… Maybe just ask them on their FB wall! https://www.facebook.com/Freeze247SkinCare

Thanks for sharing, it’s hard to find great products! I suffered from bad skin and after trying so many products have finally found one line that I haven’t changed for the past maybe 8 years! Arcona! The regular ones I use are the Raspberry Cleansing Bar, white ice, reozone tinted SPF and the tea tree mask! They have such incredible, natural products worth a try.

Such great products! Thanks for sharing! I’m a big fan of Clean and Clear Morning Glow Moisturizer. It has a tiny bit of tint and SPF 15! Perfect for the summer!

Agree with Angelina, Arcona is The. Best. I am addicted to their berry cleansing bar (used it for the last 4 or so years) and their cranberry toner. Also lately I have been loving the Korres sleeping masks, my skin feels so soft, smooth and hydrated when I wake up!
