Cloverdale Copy

When I saw an extremely cute and extremely easy DIY on Chic Geek, I knew I had to re-create! To be totally honest, I wasn’t familiar with the Kate Spade Cloverdale Rose Bowl before I saw this DIY, but I guess it’s sold out and lots of people wish they would have bought one.

I’m trying to be more crafty lately (channeling my inner Martha Stewart) and it doesn’t get much easier than this project.

Supplies:
Glass Bowl (I got a cheapie at Michaels.)
Gold Marker (I used a Sharpie Gold Paint Pen.)
Circle to trace (I started out using my One-a-Day bottle, but switched to the top of a spray paint can.)
Paint Brush
Gold Paint (I used Plaid FolkArt Royal Gold.)
Flowers (Michaels was out of rose stems, but I saw these real hydrangeas at Whole Foods and decided to use them instead.)

Who doesn’t use a Zappos box as a table for crafts? 🙂

PS – Here’s a similar Kate Spade style if you aren’t feeling crafy!

    get it gurl!! love your inner Martha coming out. I was planning on doing this for the holidays. Will have to make a goodwill run and look for some fun glass pieces this weekend. Would also be adorable on some wine glasses in a penny size polka dot! {just think holiday table!!}

    I love this idea!! So simple but so pretty! You make it look easy, though – I am not crafty, but I can’t wait to try this!

    Beautiful! I can never say no to a little glitz and using the cap as a makeshift stencil is such a good idea.

    very very cute! You’re braver than I would be…..somehow, when I start tracing circles, I keep messing up; so in the end, I have really big circles.

    But this is super cute….you may have convinced me to try it!
