Black & Beige

Black and beige is one of my go-to color combinations. I love how classic and polished the two colors look together and I believe they epitomize one the biggest components of my personal style. Sure, I mix in trendy pieces, but I love keeping a classic look.

I wore this outfit to work last Saturday. It has been very breezy lately, but I guess you’ll have that in the Windy City. It is also always freezing at work so long pants and long sleeves are usually key. When I wear skirts or short sleeves, I have a constant case of goosebumps–not fun!

I got this watch on sale for around $100 at Nordstrom! I couldn’t believe it was marked down so much. I didn’t have a black watch and although I don’t wear it all that often, I really like it!

These black glitter Toms are great for work. They are so comfortable, but add an extra dose of glam to my casual work outfits.

    Hi Jessica!

I somehow stumbled across your blog while looking for reviews of TOMS tonight. I am looking at purchasing my very first pair! I have read all sorts of stories on various websites about TOMS making feet really sweaty so I have been hesitant to buy a pair myself. Has this been your experience with TOMS or were your feet always dry when you wore them?

    Fantastic website, by the way!

    Thanks,

    Sarah.

Hi Sarah! I’ve never noticed TOMS making my feet sweaty before… I always wear mine with those thin sock liners so maybe that has something to do with it? Sorry I’m not of more help! My suggestion would be to buy them from somewhere with a great return policy (like Nordstrom) so you will be able to wear them and return them if you do have a negative experience.

Sorry! I realised I clicked the wrong button and replied in the wrong place. To be honest, I am not sure if it is because I am partly obsessive-compulsive, but I have such an intense fear of my feet sweating! Next time you wear your TOMS for an extended period of time on a hot day, can you double check there is definitely no sweat or smell? I may have to look at the crochet style TOMS which appear to be more breathable if you do notice any sweat from wearing your TOMS! Thanks!

        Have a great weekend, Jessica.

        Sarah.

Thank you, Jessica! I would love to have feet like yours! Sadly, my Sperrys make my feet sweaty so hopefully my TOMS won’t cause the same problem. Thanks again!
