Smooth Sailing

Gap Tee | Target Skirt | Old Navy Sandals | Karen Walker Sunglasses | Capwell + Co Necklace | Capwell + Co Bracelet | Essie ‘ No Baggage Please’ Nail Polish

Last week I had the pleasure of heading out onto the Hudson after work and it was such an enjoyable evening. Hey, I’ll take my adult beverages on the water with a picture perfect backdrop any day! A group of us boarded a boat with Moroccanoil for a night of Smooth Sailing. We cruised down the Hudson, had the most beautiful views of the Statue of Liberty at sunset, and the best views of lower Manhattan on the way back.

*sidenote: The dock we took these photos on was a floating dock… And it was a bit windy and wavy that night. Definitely made for some interesting photos! I was certain that I would be in the water by the end of the shoot. #overboard That would have made for some pretty epic pictures, but thankfully I stayed nice and dry!

I’m amazing you were both able to keep your hair down while being out on the water! My experience with boats is short-lived, but the few times I’ve been out my hair has gone into a bun in nanoseconds in order to survive the wind. Love your outfit.
