Striped Peplum + Plaid Scarf

Okay, back to the preppy plaid! (Read this post if you don’t know what I’m referring to…) What I love most about this outfit is how easy it is to wear year round. This striped, ruffled peplum top is a such a fun update to a regular ol’ striped shirt. (And it’s currently 40% off!) I paired it with my white corduroys and put on a pair of tan suede pumps to make it a little more seasonally appropriate. Since it’s the season for tartan and plaid, I tossed a cozy scarf over the top, but you can just as easily wear this outfit without from fall to spring! This is 100% the look that I would be going for if I was spending Christmas on the East Coast this year… Preppy and festive, but a little bit coastal, too.
