From jean jackets, to chambray shirts, to the perfect skinnies, to a pair of cute cutoffs, I’m a bit of a denim devotee. If I had to pick a favorite, it would have to be the chambray shirt, mainly due to the versatility and seasonless wearability.ย I’m a bit of a chambray shirt connoisseur. Light wash, slim fit, dark rinse, loose fit… you name it, I have it. My most recent fascination, though, has to be the printed chambray shirt.
I picked up this printed polka dot chambray shirt at Old Navy and have styled it so many different ways. I love how the polka dots take a normal chambray shirt up a notch and give your outfit that extra little pop!
I wore this printed chambray shirt over the weekend with a pair of polka dot shorts and then to the office this week with a bright pink skirt. I love how my weekend outfit was a take on mixing prints, but also experimenting with the “head-to-toe” trend. As for my work outfit, I’ve worn this skirt with a chambray shirt to work many times, but I loved how the polka dot chambray switched it up a bit!

That pink skirt is one of my all-time favorites, but I’m really loving the casual look! The mix of polka dots is just too cute!
I went with a dots on dots look last week and I love the combo — add in the fact that this top is chambray and I’m sold!
Such a perfect shirt!

I LOVE the dots on dots! As well as the necklace layering! I have a “chambray” shirt from ON but the only thing I don’t like is its more like a casual camp shirt than a denim shirt. I am in the market for one that is more structured and thicker.

I like how you wore that top and the necklaces together for each outfit — it still looks like two completely different looks because of the bottoms/shoes!
bow chicka BOW WOW!
Jess, you are so right about the versatility of a good chambray shirt! I never even though of rocking a printed chambray shirt, but you sure rocked it here girl! I love the hot pink skirt pairing, but I have to say, the print mixing was the best. You can never go wrong w/ too many polka dots! ๐

Great top – So fun & versatile!
I’ve worn my chambray shirt to work a couple of times and always worry it’s not quite dressy enough (probably because it’s so darn comfy!) but I really like the polka-dot one. It makes it more feminine ๐
