As if I haven’t preached this enough already… Adding a blazer to any basic outfit makes you appear put-together instantly. I’m really only wearing jeans and a white tee, but I look like I have just an ounce of style by simply adding a jacket, some color, and an accessory. It’s all about smoke and mirrors!
Yesterday was full of errands, but a fun day for me! I took my high-school brother and his Prom date to pick out a tux and order their flowers. Other than finding the dresses, this was always the highlight of Prom for me. I wouldn’t have even had to go to the dances, I just liked coordinating everything! Anyway, back to yesterday–you better believe there were bows and sequins involved. She had already gotten her dress… a gorgeous, satiny cobalt dress with an iridescent sequin bodice that picked up plum, turquoise, and teal, depending on which way the light hit the sequins. We picked out a charcoal gray tux for him with a shimmery teal vest and bow tie. I can’t even explain how cool her wrist corsage and his boutineer will be… they totally tie all of the colors together! I can’t wait to see how it all comes together and ESPECIALLY can’t wait to see my brother in a bow tie. It’s going to be fab! Okay, okay. I guess I’m kind of living vicariously through my 18-year-old brother. {snap back to reality}

I really love this look. Are you by any chance short? I am asking this in the nicest possible way as I am only 5 foot … and heigh definitely matters in what looks I’m able to pull off. Love the shoes, love the bracelets! Love it all!

Gah – this is so cute! The pink & green together are so fun – I’ve been looking for a bright pink blazer, but haven’t been able to find a nice one yet (and don’t want to buy a cheap F21 version)…yours is perfect!
