Navy + Neon

by Jessica Sturdy on October 8, 2013

We’re having a bit of an Indian Summer here in the northeast so it only seems fitting to share one of my forgotten about outfits from this summer. Stripes on Stripes on Gingham.

I love this look! The horizontal & vertical stripes totally works! Enjoy the warm weather, I have a feeling we will be in the depths of winter sooner then we think!

SO cute – I have this same blazer and now I wish I hadn’t packed it away for fall!

You’re so brave! I never would have thought that combination would work… But it totally does!

I love the pop of neon on the underside of the collar! Last week was so brutally hot and I wasn’t happy about it at all. Thankfully that rainstorm yesterday cooled things down and I could actually wear a jacket this morning.

How adorable is this blazer?! I really like the touch of neon!

I love how you’re still rocking neon and nautical stripes into fall! The heat wave last week made me get out my summer nautical shorts too.:)

Love this outfit and the stripes on stripes is perfect. We had a very short lived indian summer this past weekend. Glad I didn’t bother to take out my summer clothes again because now we are back to rain.

Great outfit Jessica.

I love the pattern mixing going on in this cute outfit Jessica! I’m happy you shared this forgotten Summer look.

I know we were talking about how you’ve grown away from preppier looks, but I feel like this is classic preppy-in the I-have-a-summer-house-in-the-Hamptons kind of way 😉 (daydreaming right there!)

Some day, my friend! But these photos were taken in July… 😉

Love how you mixed those stripes! Looks like an appropriate outfit to have worn over the weekend-it was hot! Today finally felt a bit less humid, thank goodness.
