Had to do another one for all of the food… (And I still had a hard time narrowing down!) We pretty much just ate and drank our way through the city, which is always my favorite kind of vacay. 🥯🍕🥢🍸☕️🍦🥟🍝🌮🍹🍳🍅🍟

🍸 @jacsonbondny - book a res for cocktails. The Caprese Martini was unlike anything I’ve ever had!
🥢 @cheli.nyc - one of the best meals we’ve had - the food was SO good!
🍕 @emmettsongrove - pizza and martinis, what could go wrong?! 😅 IYKYK
🥯 @thompkinssquarebagels - my favorite bagels in NYC! Avenue A is the original location, I used to live around the corner on 11th Street. They’ve since opened another location
🍹 @rosiesnyc - one of the best happy hours around, I used to go here after work! They have great food, but even better margaritas. (Only $10 on the HH menu!)
🍷 @claudette_nyc - always great for dinner or just a glass of wine and pre-dinner snack. Pommes frites and whipped chèvre are 💯 and they have one of my favorite Côtes du Rhônes by the glass (@familleperrin)
🥯 @blackseedbagels - the best bagel sammies
🍦 @milkbarstore - always love grabbing a cereal milk soft serve or cake truffles to-go

I can’t get enough of these black coated jeans! They’ve got that leather look without any of the discomfort. Just the right amount of stretch and they pair perfectly with a pretty pair of pumps.

You’ve got to try these denim leggings… They’re a must for tucking into tall boots this fall and winter! So comfortable with plenty of stretch, and they’re pull-on without any buttons or zippers. I love that there’s a faux fly and two back pockets so it doesn’t look like you’re wearing leggings.

Had the best time yesterday at a little riverside lunch @pizzeria.portofino with @revolve & @nosotros 🍕🍝🥗🍹 Such a great way to kick off the weekend and so fun to meet a handful of new friends to follow, too!

PS - This matching set is SO good! (And I totally plan on pairing the pants with other pieces in my closet, too!) Beyond flattering, too… The top’s wide set straps hit at the perfect place on the shoulder to cover up any ‘bra bulge.’ I’m wearing a M in both the top and bottoms, and the pants *do* run a bit big like the reviews say. I didn’t snap a pic until after lunch and was nervous my pants would be wrinkly AF after sitting for two hours, but it’s a slinkier fabric that creases less. If you need a cute little going out ‘fit, this one’s a 10/10 for me. 💯

We’re calling this the summer I got my health back on track… Or rather, the summer I 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙙 to. Two months in, and I’m realizing just how long these things take. ⏳
The last few ~interesting~ years and just generally getting older has had me itching to find a primary care doctor. Through a referral from a friend, I found a clinic that focuses more on preventative care, versus your traditional primary care. With most primary care in our country, you get 10 minutes with your doctor and as long as all metrics and bloodwork look ‘fine,’ you’re good to go and out the door.
At the concierge practice I’m going to, I was able to get A LOT of bloodwork done (basically what felt like every blood test you can run) and had an hour-long telehealth appointment a few weeks later to discuss my results.
And boy, oh boy, was I in for a bit of a 𝙧𝙪𝙙𝙚 awakening! 😳

It’s been a funnn summer to be a Cubs fan, especially now being able to *walk* to/from Wrigley Field! ⚾️🧢🐻 (Although scooters have become our preferred method of transportation! 🛴)

Dave has streamed every game we haven’t been at and it’s safe to say he was quiteee jealous @terez invited me to go to the Crosstown Classic last week to celebrate the launch of their @mlb collection! #terezxmlb
Got to witness Morel’s walk-off home run in the bottom of the 9th and a Cubbie W over the White Sox. So much fun!! 🏳️

A little post of gratitude today… Three things I’m thankful for this year ❤️🙏🏼

• Making my little family with Dave and Marley 🐶 (not a pregnancy announcement lol) We’re finally feeling so settled in our home (it takes at least a full year IMO!) and it feels so, so nice. 🏡 Savoring these ‘dink’ days without too much on our plates, as I know they won’t last forever.
• Friends, family, friends that feel like family, family that feels like friends.
• YOU! I feel like so many of you have been following along since I lived in New York, and some even before I moved there! It’s so wild to me that so many of you have been along for the ride for almost a decade or more. Old friends and new, I’m so happy to have you here 🤎 I feel so, so lucky to get to talk about clothes, skincare, shoes, decor, and share all of my favorite things every day. Life is short and to be able to enjoy the work days is such a gift. Thank you, truly!

My friend @jenniferlake launched her annual holiday collection with @sailtosable today and there’s no shortage of sparkle! ✨ I was so generously gifted a style of my choice and picked the Anne gold sequin maxi dress (swipe) — CANNOT WAIT to wear it for holiday parties this season. 🥂 I might just start wearing it around the house on a Tuesday morning because it’s that good! 🤩

They also brought back my favorite Charlotte sequin dress in this capsule collection! I have silver (pictured above), but it’s now available in a stunning emerald sequin fabric and a classic black sequin fabric, too.

A few notes on quality… The bar is set high! ⬆️ You’ll be hard-pressed to find dreamy sequins like this at this price point. These styles are fully lined through the bodice and not itchy at all. The fabric has a slight stretch to it and drapes BEAUTIFULLY. It’s hard to explain until you have the dresses on, but they both fall and swing so, so perfectly! 10/10. No notes. 🏆
