Nod to Nautical

by Jessica Sturdy on March 5, 2013

Look familiar? I took this outfit and updated it a bit for “spring.” I’m kind of living it my own little fantasy land and pretending that it’s already spring, even though it was 18 degrees (with the windchill) when I left my apartment yesterday. I AM SO OVER WINTER AND THE COLD. #endrant

I’m loving the combination of plum, rust, and navy. Saturated jewel tones? Me? No, never. ;)

These rust pants have a tendency to feel very “fall,” but I think the striped tee, plum pumps, and off-white give the outfit a fresh update.

Madewell Striped Tee (on sale!) / Forever 21 Navy Blazer (old, similar styles here, here, & here) / AG Rust Chinos (similar) / ZARA Burgundy Ankle Strap Pumps (similar) / gifted Brahmin Clutch / Marc By Marc Jacobs Rose Gold Watch / J.Crew Pavé Links Bracelet / Sequin Enamel Bangle / Sequin Leopard Bangle / Sequin Necklace / Nordstrom Ring (old) / Lips: Dolce & Gabbana ‘Shocking’ Lipstick + Dolce & Gabbana ‘Glossy’ Lip Gloss

Thanks for the photos, Rose!
