I spent this past weekend in Chicago to celebrate my girlfriend’s golden birthday! This was only my second weekend back in Chicago since I moved to New York.. Where does the time go?! You can read about my last visit here & here.
Having gone four months without seeing my best friends, the Friday night to Sunday afternoon trip felt far too short! Thankfully, we will all be reunited in Vegas in 24 short days. I can hardly wait!
Blondie over here remembered to pack my new lens, but forgot to pack my camera. Ooops! We managed to get a few iPhone snaps to document our weekend..
Slept in and lounged in bed most of the morning on Saturday. Finally ventured out to brunch and then introduced the girls to my main man, David. 
Then it was time to get ready for the golden birthday party! We picked up the balloons, iced the cupcakes, and put together the apps. (And ate quite a few of those things along the way…)
I kept my outfit simple with a tee, skirt, and tights. Accidentally forgot the necklace I wanted to wear with this… Are you sensing a trend? I’m losing my mind lately!

Love your H & M tee!! You look adorable! I would t have thought that is where you got your top! Never go to H & M but looking forward to them opening up soon next to Anthroplpgy in OT. So was the Golden B-Day…24? Too bad for so many it comes too early in life to properly celebrate. You max it out at 31! The best is my patient at work…she did the Golden B-Day TWICE! That’s right…she was 101 on August 1st! God bless her & she still has it all going on & a great smile too! Glad you had a great time in 0ne of my favorite cities!
