Bows & Snowflakes

by Jessica Sturdy on January 3, 2013

Wine-colored cords and a snowflake sweater ended up being what I wore to my family Christmas party on the 23rd. I added a chambray shirt (mainly for warmth!), burgundy bow flats, and some sparkly jewelry!

What did you wear for your casual family gatherings? Let me know in the comments below!

Cute outfit. I wore a green chiffon blouse, jeans & boots to the Christmas dinner. I topped it with a statement necklace. It was cute, but also comfy.

The burgundy is perfectly festive without being completely over the top – this is a great outfit, thank you so much for sharing!

This is so incredibly cute! Love it :)
I went with gold jacquard skirt and a black button down with black and gold accessories for Christmas Eve, and red dress for Christmas day. I ended up repeating the Christmas Eve outfit for a post-Christmas party at my boyfriend’s house.

I wore a polka dot sleeve-less blouse, black lace pencil skirt and green cardigan for Christmas Eve. I wore an adorable bow top with black pants for Christmas Day. I wore a great black and grey striped dress on Boxing Day and I also wore the bow and sequin cardigan from J Crew. It felt good to dress up.

Love the outfit.

What an adorable outfit! All the pieces of it are totally swoon-worthy. Perfect for a casual holiday gathering.

I wore jeans, a leopard print top, and a hunter green cardigan topped off with the gold and pink J. Crew necklace I purchased from you via Poshmark!

Do you have any tips for what shades of denim/chambray to layer with certain colors, I have always tried to do the sweater over denim shirt look, and for some reason it just never works for me :/ -Thanks…….and super cute outfit!
