How’s this for switching it up this week?! (In case you missed it, I was on a bit of a burgundy bender earlier this week. Evidenced here, here, here, and here.)
This outfit is SO not “me,” but what can I say? I guess my East Village neighbors are wearing off on me. This boho-ish look isn’t here to stay, but I felt like switching it up last Sunday for a casual lunch at Momofuku!
J.Crew Sweater / Madewell Shorts / gifted Sequin Necklace / Wanted Booties / Anne Klein Watch (old, similar here) / gifted Stella & Dot Bangle
PS – Did you hear the news? J.Crew is running a promotion for 25% off and free shipping with code: STYLE25! Hurry, ends Sunday! Here’s what I’m lusting after…
See? I told you the prepster would be back…

I love this look – although I’m a little jealous you can still wear shorts…it’s freezing here in upstate NY! Love those booties and can’t wait to see the other ways you wear them this fall
Is it really?! I didn’t realize how big the temperature gap was! It’s be in the 70′s still… Cool enough in the mornings to feel like fall, which is my favorite
cute outfit, I love your booties I got similar ones from Guess this week and cannot wait to get them. I’m also all over this J.Crew sale I got middle sweater in the first row already as well as the second row middle skirt.

You should go boho more often. I have been eyeing those shoes forever. Great necklace too. I love the way you put it all together. Happy weekend!

Ugh I want EVERYTHING from J. Crew. They’re killing me (and my budget)! I think it’s fun to switch it up every now and then and wear something totally different – most of the time because it ends up looking great, just like this outfit does on you!
I LOVE this look, Jessica!! I wish I had your legs so I could pull it off this well – I guess I’ll be hitting up this gym this weekend!
I just bought those boots! I didn’t think to pair them with these colors but I love it!
Love a good sweater with a pair of shorts, so cute!

love everything about the shorts+long sleeve combo!
I adooooore this look! Perfect for the weather going on right now!
This look is boho?? Still looks preppy to me. Must be the boots that cross the line
They are adorable, by the way.
I see your point… Polka dots are very preppy, and the glitter, too. But the slouchy sweater, short shorts, and ankle booties? Screams boho to me.
hi jessica,

keep up the good work..

Even if you say this isn’t you, you still look like you wearing it…so that’s a success!! If you swapped out the necklace for something more traditional, I’m sure it would feel less boho and more normal =)
Love your glitter booties with the polka dot shorts! So stylish and cute!
