Hi, friends! Hallie from corals + cognacs here, delighted to be guest blogging on Bows & Sequins to chat with you about personal style.

I first met Jess ~~when we were separated at birth~~ out and about on the local fashion scene, and I remember feeling drawn to her fun, preppy-yet-playful sense of style (in a non-creepy sort of way, ha). You can probably relate, right?

Similarly, mine is flirty and feminine, but I tend to err on the side of – well, I’m not exactly sure. As my blog name may imply, I’m very into color – blocking, coordinating, you name it. Beyond that, though, my personal style varies. Defining it is something I’ve often struggled with.

Ultimately, I like to wear pieces that can transition from one season to the next, like a summer dress that I can easily pair tights with and wear-forever basics, mixed mix those up with statement accessories. What about you? Here’s a few of my favorite looks so far this summer:
