Modern Vintage Chicago Preview

by Jessica Sturdy on October 27, 2011

Like I said last week, I was invited to preview the Modern Vintage Chicago Fall Fashion & Jewelry Explosion. I was super bummed that I was busy with work all weekend because I didn’t get to go shop the event. At least I got to preview it on Friday night!

Dress: Pitaya (Store in Champaign that actually burned down this past Spring)
Jacket: Tulle
Booties: Sam Edelman (worn here and here)
Necklace: Bauble Bar (also worn here)
Bracelets: Vintage, Cache, Bauble Bar, Express

There wasn’t a whole lot going on at the preview. A table of free booze while the shop owners were setting up. Matt and I wandered around looking at merchandise before heading to dinner! I don’t know if we came at the wrong time or what, but there were only 2-3 other people there for the “preview.” I wish I could have gotten to meet other Chicago bloggers!

This leopard jacket obviously caught my eye…

Okay, so these black and white patent polka dot Valentino pumps were EXACTLY my size. Kicking myself that I didn’t buy them. Such an amazing find.

This corner might have been made for me. And all of my other blogger friends who are leopard obsessed, too! :)

Did you make it out to the Randolph Street Market this past weekend? If so, what was your favorite part? If you’re not from Chicago, tell me about your most amazing vintage find! :)

It’s probably a good thing that I didn’t make it to the actual shopping portion…

Wow sooo may things to buy at that event! Love your look, too. That jacket is great! I can tell I’m going to be jealous of all your fab winter looks in the coming months :)

You know I love my faux fur. :) How chilly does it get in the winter months down in Florida?! I’m sure you can incorporate some faux fur in there some how (vest maybe?!)!
