Sin City

Four of my good friends and I headed to Vegas two days after Graduation. I seriously had the time of my life–such a great vacation and such an awesome way to end college! We stayed at the MGM. We went to Tao at the Venetian for dinner one night, as well as Prime at the Bellagio the next. Best. Meals. Ever. We also had bottle service at LAX in the Luxor one night. So fun!

At Tao we had potstickers, pad thai, sushi, and delicious drinks. The ambiance and smell of Tao was like nothing I have ever experienced. (Don’t get my friends started on the smell. I went back to the gift shop the next day and spent $55 on candles to try and recreate the smell. Apparently the wonderful aroma was coming from the baths of rose petals in the entrance. The candles in the baths were unscented so my plan didn’t really work out.) If you go to Las Vegas, promise me you will eat at Tao.

The decor in Prime was so decadent. They had the same colors as my bed room– aqua and chocolate. I tried to take pictures without the flash to avoid looking like a tourist and they didn’t turn out. Check out the website to see what it looks like. Prime is positioned right on the fountains so you can watch the Bellagio water shows while you dine. We had wine, salad, mashed potatoes, asparagus, scrumptious Filet Mignon and seafood. To say we ate like kings in Vegas would be an understatement.

I’m standing in front of the pools/baths/(not sure what to call them) in the entrance to Tao. I only have one picture of my outfit because it was quite awkward having a photo shoot in a nice restaurant.
