The New Place – Living Room

I absolutely despise moving with all that I am. But when you’re moving into your first apartment after college and it’s an awesome neighborhood and you just purchased the most chic furniture and decor, it’s not nearly as bad! My graduation gift from my parents (okay, maybe this was the best gift of all) was new furniture for my new apartment. My mom is an amazing interior decorator–she honestly should do it for a living. We pretty much bought out Pier 1 Imports. Here are a couple some of the “before” pictures.

I took these pictures before we got our TV. The TV is now on that table by the door. How fab is our living room?? I’m obsessed. I absolutely love our zebra rug and our mirrors. We don’t have the biggest dining area, but you can see the table and chairs behind the couch. The table is awesome because it has a leaf that stays attached and hides under the table so we can extend it if people are over for dinner. We keep the two extra chairs at our bar area in the kitchen. Check back tomorrow for pictures of my bedroom–it’s my favorite! 🙂
